All of our guitars are fully set up by our professional technicians in store and come with a one year set up and servicing warranty.

Our student classical guitars are great for beginners and we offer starter packs for these as well, all backed up by the quality service you expect from Westmount Music. All the guitars we sell are fully set-up to ensure the best playing experience.

If you're looking to find a guitar for beginners course you've come to the right place. We offer both DVD based and online interactive learning for the guitar, with lessons set out in easy to manage chunks so those fingers don't get too overwhelmed (or sore!). Our online learning software powered by Gigajam offers all the ease of a stage based course with interactive features and videos which really push forward learning. The learning modules on our 'guitar for beginners' course have been specifically designed for complete novices. They start from the very beginning of finding your way round the fretboard, moving on to introductory chord structure and picking technique, with lessons and videos along the way to help you visualise the correct way to hold the guitar and place fingers.

Here at Westmount Music we also offer tuition in our in-house music room. We currently have four guitar tutors teaching with us, offering lessons in all guitar disciplines.
