Our flexible scheme enables you to try out an instrument without any long term commitment or large financial outlay.

What's Included

We set up all of our instruments so that they are ready to play and all outfits will include a quality protective case.  Violins additionally will include a quality bow and Rosin; Brass and Woodwind Instruments will include Mouthpiece and Reed. For a refundable £10 deposit, we can also provide a clip-on tuner for the stringed instruments. These can also be purchased separately in store. We will be happy to carry out all necessary warrantable servicing and adjustments* on instruments rented by us, including a free re-stringing and bow rehairing service should the need arise. Please note, consumables such as strings and reeds will need to be replaced at cost. (*Excludes accidental damage.)

What's Not Included

Insurance is at your sole discretion, although we would highly recommend getting the instrument insured to cover any loss or damage, or servicing costs incurred due to accidental damage. Typically, an instrument with a value of £200 can be fully insured for as little as £2.45 per month. If you would like advice on Insurance, please do not hesitate to contact us as we can help arrange this for you.

When do I return the instrument?

You can return the instrument to us at any time after the 3 month minimum rental to terminate the agreement, (no notice is required). The agreement finishes when the instrument arrives back at our shop. No further payments will be payable (excluding any arrears).

If you rent for over 6 months and choose to purchase an instrument of the same or greater value, then we will offer you a discount equivalent to 3 months rental payments off of the purchase price of that new instrument.
